  • Compensation: $15.50 to $22.48 per hour, based on education, experience, and internal equity.
  • Schedule:PRN,Typically follows regular business hours; occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required based on clinic needs.

What You’ll Do as a Clinic Receptionist

What We’re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Experience

  • One (1) year of prior experience in a medical or clinic setting preferred.
Licensure & Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association preferred, but not required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and administrative functions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Strong computer proficiency and organizational abilities.
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
Physical & Work Environment
Physical Demands
  • Primarily sedentary role involving extended periods of sitting while performing administrative responsibilities.
  • Occasional standing when assisting patients or visitors.
  • Minimal lifting associated with handling files and office supplies.
  • Frequent keyboard and computer use for documentation and data entry.
  • Visual acuity required for reading patient information, forms, and computer screens.
