Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will greet, triage, register, and schedule appointments, while ensuring a warm, welcoming front desk experience and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, previous front office experience in medical/dental settings preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish. Strong communication and multi-line phone handling are essential.

Front Desk Receptionist

The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and supporting daily front office operations. This role plays a key part in creating a positive patient experience while supporting clinic flow and access to care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, answer phones, and schedule appointments
• Register patients and accurately enter demographic information
• Collect patient payments and maintain accurate records
• Assist patients with forms, services, and referrals to community resources
• Support back-office staff to help address clinical quality measure gaps
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and patient waiting areas
