Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Receiver to join the Inventory Management- DQ team. This full-time role involves receiving shipments, delivering equipment to on-campus departments, and documenting all receipts in the Lawson ERP system.

A valid driver’s license is required, and DOT Hazmat training is expected within 90 days of hire. You will work Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm, within a 80-hour pay period, supporting a patient-care supply chain across the Dubuque region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of Supply Chain distribution experience.
• Must have a valid driver license and DOT Hazmat awareness/training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments safely using pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed.
• Inspect packages for damages and verify against packing slips.
• Document receipts in Lawson ERP accurately.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate with Central Procurement.
• Deliver supplies/equipment to on-campus or regional facilities as needed.
• Process vendor returns in the ERP system and coordinate with freight carrier.

As a member of an inter-disciplinary Supply Chain team, a Receiver performs receiving tasks within the ERP system and may also be responsible for driving and delivering equipment to on-campus departments, off-campus facilities, and clinics as appropriate within assigned region.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Delivery

• Responsible for efficient and timely unloading of shipments from freight carrier through use of pallet jack, hand truck, or flatbed
• Inspects packages for damages
• Verifies product shipment to packing slip
• Appropriately and accurately documents receipt of product in Lawson ERP system
• Identifies and communicates with Central Procurement discrepancies in shipments
• Files packing slips and receiving records
• Completes delivery of packages to correct location per Purchase Order
• Processes vendor returns in the ERP system and for the outbound freight carrier to process
• May deliver supplies and/or equipment to offcampus facilities/clinics within the region as appropriate
