Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Receiving Team Lead for our Wendell, NC site. You will manage all aspects of receiving, including material handling, audits, replenishment, and inventory control, while applying 5S and lean principles. Strong SAP and RF device skills are required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will lead a small team, train new staff, and ensure accurate receipt of goods. This role offers hands-on warehouse leadership in a manufacturing environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years in receiving in a manufacturing plant.
• Minimum 3 years forklift experience (reach, sit-down, cherry picker).
• Proficient in SAP ERP and RF devices.
• Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting or related position.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate stand-up reach truck, stand-up order picker, and sit-down forklift in high traffic areas.
• Handle inbound materials, auditing, replenishment, put-away and inventory tasks.
• Receive goods, verify against shipment records, and file damage claims with carriers.
• Record received items and maintain inventory according to procedures.
• Apply 5S+, Lean principles in the team/area.
• Assist in training of new employees and SAP access requests.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
