S&S Activewear, LLC in McDonough, GA is seeking a Receiving Lead to manage the receiving department, enforce procedures, and guide the team to meet safety and efficiency goals.

Responsibilities include leading the receiving process, training staff, ensuring accuracy, and communicating with supervisors. Candidate should be able to lift 50 lbs, read English instructions, and operate warehouse equipment; a HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Must be in good standing with the company
• Ability to read and understand pick tickets and labels written in English
• Ability to use electronic devices
• Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers quickly and accurately
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Ability to prioritize assignments in order to meet cut off times
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Ability to learn or be trained on using power equipment: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, etc.
• Willing to perform other duties as required
• Able to work overtime if required

Responsabilités

• Use a tablet and scanner to perform the job
• Receive goods based on supplies packing list
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Show up on time every day, ready to work with a positive attitude
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Follow directions of supervisors and mangers
• Help reconcile and delivery discrepancies
• Monitor receiving progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Provide assistance and guidance to the receiving team
• Perform regular safety walks
• Assess the root cause of receiving issues and help devise a plan of action for preventing similar future problems
• Process improvement participation
