Job summary

S&S Activewear in Lockport, IL is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead for Receiving & Inventory Control. You will supervise the IC team, uphold procedures, guide daily tasks, and ensure accuracy and safety in a fast-paced distribution center.

You will train staff, monitor KPI metrics, and support process improvements with leadership. The role is Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Flexibility with start and departure time changing and overtime requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the leadership team for process improvements and support throughout the DC.
• Monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to meet safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment and machinery as required (e.g., cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Report discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages; maintain audits.
• Train new and existing employees; support training and onboarding in the DC.
