Job summary

Binny's Beverage Depot is seeking a qualified Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of products and proper documentation. The role demands a strong retail background, attention to vendor invoices, purchase orders, and Binny's Receiving Sheets, plus the ability to lift 40-50 pounds.

Responsibilities include inspecting goods for damage or expiration, securing the Receiving Area, communicating issues with Buyers and managers, and entering data accurately into Binny's computer systems.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Prior receiving experience or knowledge of Binny's products.
• Flexible hours including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Organized with good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds.
• Ability to pass alcohol training and maintain a current certification card.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate receiving by verifying goods and quantities received by comparing vendor invoices, purchase orders, and/or Binny's Receiving Sheets.
• Inspection of goods overall condition, including inspecting for damages, expired/old goods.
• Security of the Receiving Area by adhering to Binny's Receiving policies and monitoring of vendors and delivery drivers.
• Communicating with Buyers, Managers and Departments about any receiving or product issues or instructions, product refusals, distro's, etc.
• Ability to provide clear and accurate notes on invoices regarding shortages, refusals, damages, etc.
• Ability to accurately enter data in computer systems.
