Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Receiving Associate to support accurate receiving, inventory control, freight processing, and merchandise movement throughout the store. The role involves receiving shipments, processing purchase orders, and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.

Candidate should have 1+ year in receiving or related fields, be comfortable with computers and inventory systems, and work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of receiving, warehouse or related experience.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory control, or shipping/receiving preferred.
• Comfortable using computers, scan guns, and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process purchase orders according to SOPs.
• Use scan guns and computer systems to document receipts and inventory.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate PO, DC, and vendor issues.
• Maintain accurate receiving records and research negative on-hand inventory.
• Verify merchandise pricing, labels, and security tags.
