Job summary

National Oilwell Varco in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Receiving Specialist to manage the intake and storage of materials, verify against POs, and support inventory accuracy across the warehouse. You will work with procurement, QA, and other teams to resolve issues and maintain clean, organized inventory records.

The role requires forklift operation certification, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 5 years receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Professional communication across departments and media.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Oracle knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offloads and processes dock receipts against packing lists and MTRs.
• Ensure inbound material matches PO and packing list.
• Resolve receiving issues with procurement and accounting.
• Direct shipping, receiving and inventory issues to supervisor.
• Maintain complete inventory records and logs.
• Expedite incoming material and parts requests.
• Stock warehouse parts in an organized manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of inventory areas.
• Perform daily cycle counts as assigned.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and maintain forklift certification.
• Work extra hours daily and on weekends as required.
• Follow safety and environmental policies at all times.
