Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Receiving Specialist on the 1st shift to support production operations by safely moving materials with forklifts and drum-handling equipment. You will maintain inventory accuracy, use scanning systems, and support efficient material flow while upholding safety and GMP standards.

The role requires 2+ years in internal logistics and the ability to handle up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in internal logistics operations
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens
• Frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate standup and sit-down forklift

• Transport and retrieve palletized materials in support of production operations.
• Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including stand-up, sit-down, and walk-behind forklifts.
• Handle and operate motorized and non-motorized drum handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use scanning equipment and maintain accurate inventory, cycle count, and operational records.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and operational procedures while keeping work areas clean and organized.
• Escalate safety, quality, or process issues as needed, support corrective actions, and assist with additional business needs.

You bring

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $22.50- $23.00.

In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
