Job summary

Crane Co. is seeking a Receiving Specialist to ensure accurate intake of materials and proper documentation within our facility. You will unload materials, verify items against packing lists, and enter data to maintain traceability.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to procedures, safety, and teamwork; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• A strong attention to detail.
• The ability to follow written procedures.
• The ability to conform to all established safety practices.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.
• The ability to lift, bend, twist, and stoop.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloading raw materials and parts from trucks by hand or by fork truck.
• Ensuring all parts delivered align physically and quantitatively with the vendors packing list and our purchase order.
• Inspecting parts to meet specifications / material trace codes / general visual inspection.
• Identifying and reporting non-conforming parts for engineering’s inspection.
• Receiving parts in the order specified by receiving reports.
• Ensuring no part leaves the receiving area without it being received into the system.
• Printing and applying labels for material traceability.
• Recording and reporting the levels of the liquid nitrogen and liquid argon tanks.
• Performing all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
