Job summary

ABS Graphics Inc. in Itasca, IL is seeking a Receiving/Shipping Clerk to manage the receipt, verification and distribution of materials within a busy warehouse. The role involves unloading shipments, matching paperwork to orders, and recording inventory movements daily.

You will work with Avanti, FedEx Ship Manager and UPS software, ensuring accurate PO receipts and timely updates to the team. Safety, PPE compliance, and physical endurance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience with shipping/receiving procedures.
• Forklift certification and ability to recertify.
• Ability to read and interpret PO's, BOLs and packing slips.
• Proficiency with carrier software (FedEx/UPS) and warehouse systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 750 lbs.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials; verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Document discrepancies and notify supervisor or purchasing personnel.
• Record and track shipments, pulls, and inventory movements in the system.
• Operate forklift as needed; assist in loading/unloading in warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area and follow SOPs.
• Assist in ongoing warehouse tasks and process improvements.
