Role Overview: The Receiving/Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating the accurate and timely movement of inbound and outbound shipments and supporting the daily operations of APC’s shipping and receiving department. This role serves as a central point of coordination for shipment flow, carrier activity, documentation, and communication across internal teams. The position processes domestic and international shipments, prepares and reviews required shipping documentation, and reconciles inbound materials against airway bills, manifests, and supporting records. The Receiving/Shipping Clerk also plays an important role in protecting revenue by identifying and promptly reporting shortages, overages, damage, and other shipment discrepancies. Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential to success in this role.

Physical Requirements: The employee must periodically lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, generally for approximately one hour per day or less. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform other warehouse-related activities as needed. The employee must also be able to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
