Job summary

Compass Group USA, via its Canteen division, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor (Receiving) in Miramar, FL. The role oversees inbound shipments, coordinates dock schedules, and ensures accurate documentation and safe storage. Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–4:00 pm, with a focus on quality and food safety.

Ideal candidates have prior shipping/receiving and supervisory experience and can maintain efficient receiving operations while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, and supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the unloading, receiving, inspection, and proper storage of all inbound shipments.
• Verify incoming products against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all deliveries are received, documented, and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate dock schedules, delivery windows, and receiving priorities to maintain an efficient flow of incoming products.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe receiving docks, coolers, freezers, and storage areas in accordance with established standards.
• Inspect and document temperatures of refrigerated and frozen products upon receipt to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Identify and reject damaged, expired, contaminated, improperly stored, or otherwise unsafe products.
• Monitor receiving operations for compliance with quality control, food safety, sanitation, and company procedures, addressing issues as needed. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
