Job summary

Bendix is hiring a Quality Technician (Receiving) for the Huntington, Indiana facility on the 2nd shift. You’ll inspect and verify incoming materials, components, and purchased parts to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specs.

Located at the Bendix Distribution Center, you’ll work with quality engineers, prepare Q2 notifications for non-conforming material, perform first piece inspections, and support production while promoting continuous improvement in a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and comprehend work instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Must be able to operate in an industrial environment safely.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections per SAP and sampling plans.
• Work closely with quality engineers to resolve issues and support projects.
• Create Q2 notifications for non-conforming material.
• Process and expedite Q2s and interface with planners to resolve material quality issues.
• Stock checks to support customer claims as needed.
• Provide quality support to all areas of the plant as needed.
• Perform first piece inspections to support production requirements when needed.
