Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Quality Control Inspector in Youngstown, OH. You will verify that all incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies meet engineering drawings and purchase order requirements.

The role requires documentation proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and hands-on inspection experience in electromechanical environments. Collaboration with procurement, production, and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree or electrical trade certification preferred.
• 1 year of inspection experience in electromechanical industries required.
• Blueprint and electrical schematic reading capabilities required.
• Documentation and reporting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming electrical components against BOMs, POs, and data sheets.
• Inspect incoming structural material per drawings, specs, and POs.
• Conduct sampling power testing for electrical components.
• Record inspection results and update ERP system.
• Review supplier documentation such as test reports and certificates.
• Isolate and quarantine defective materials to prevent production release.
• Generate NCRs with photographic evidence and clear defect descriptions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production and Engineering for root-cause investigations.
