Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is hiring a Receiving Quality Control Inspector to verify incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies meet BOM and PO requirements. You’ll document results, isolate non-conforming items, and support root-cause investigations with suppliers.

The role demands attention to detail, basic measurement skills, and teamwork, with a focus on quality in electromechanical manufacturing in Youngstown, OH.

Qualifications

• One year of experience with structural and/or electrical inspection in electromechanical industries required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming electrical components against BOM, purchase orders, and supplier data sheets.
• Inspect incoming structural material per engineering drawings, specs and purchase orders.
• Conduct sampling power on testing for electrical components.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports and updating ERP system.
• Review supplier documentation like material test reports and certificates of conformity.
• Isolate, tag, and segment defective materials in a quarantine area to prevent release into production.
• Generate detailed Non-Conformance Reports with photographic evidence and description of defects.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production and Engineering to investigate root causes.

Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Receiving Quality Control Inspector. The Receiving Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying that all incoming raw materials, engineered components, sub-assemblies, meet engineering drawings and purchase order requirements.

Job Duties:

• Inspect incoming electrical components (relays, circuit breakers, CTs/PTs, terminal blocks, digital meters, and busbars) against Bills of Materials (BOM), purchase orders, and supplier data sheets.
• Inspect incoming structural material such as structural steel, insulation, wall panels, HVAC framing, and doors per engineering drawings, specifications and purchase orders.
• Conduct sampling power on testing for electrical components.
• Recording inspection results by completing reports and update ERP system.
• Review supplier documentation like material test reports, certificate of conformity etc. and file in appropriate network location.
• Isolate, tag, and segment defective or non-conforming materials in a designated quarantine area to prevent accidental release into production.
• Generate detailed Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) including photographic evidence and clear technical descriptions of defects.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production and Engineering to initiate root cause investigations with suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One year of experience with structural and/or electrical inspection in electromechanical industries required
