Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Receiving Packaging Coordinator at our Salisbury, North Carolina Distribution Center. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

You will manage safe and accurate inventory movement, coordinate orders and returns, train new staff, and support packaging operations while ensuring efficient flow and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and valid state driver's license.
• One year of general warehouse/distribution knowledge.
• Average math, plus reading and writing skills.
• Problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and accurate inventory and material movement in Receiving/Packaging.
• Provide technical coordination within Receiving/Packaging/Returns.
• Coordinate flow of PO receipts, returns and packaging work assignments.
• Schedule carrier deliveries and manage delivery documentation.
• Train new personnel in Receiving and Packaging procedures.
• Assist Crew Leader in safety and proficiency monitoring.
• Provide coverage directed by the Crew Leader.
• Order and maintain packaging supply inventory.
• Manage movement and restock of cardboard at packaging stations.
