Job summary

Imperial Supplies, a Grainger Company, is hiring a Receiving/Packaging Coordinator for our Salisbury, North Carolina Distribution Center. This full-time role (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) supports safe and accurate inventory movement and packaging operations.

You will coordinate PO receipts, returns, and packing workflows, train staff, and help manage safety and efficiency in the Receiving/Packaging area. Benefits begin Day 1, with 18 days PTO and 401(k) vesting, plus holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• One year of general warehouse/distribution knowledge preferred.
• Average math skills and reading/writing ability required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of purchase order receipts, returns and packaging work assignments including receipts and PO preparation.
• Schedule carrier deliveries and coordinate with carrier personnel for documentation.
• Train new personnel in Receiving and Packaging processes and SOPs.
• Monitor safety and proficiency of team members within Receiving/Packaging.
• Order and maintain packaging supply inventory and restock cardboard as needed.
