Job summary

Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare is seeking a Receiving Operator/Put Away Driver to accurately put away received products in the correct rack locations. You will stage pallets, manage various material handling equipment, and ensure safety standards are met in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role includes shift from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with starting pay of $23.25 per hour. Experience with SAP/WMS and RF scanning is preferred to support accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and RF scanners.
• Able to operate material movement equipment (pallet jacks, cherry pickers).
• SAP or Warehouse Management System experience.

Summary (Major Purpose Of The Role)

As a Receiving Operator, you will be tasked to ensure the received product is put away accurately and timely while meeting and adhering to all safety requirements. As a Put away Driver, you will be responsible for taking audited pallets from either the assigned Runner or dock to be put away in the correct rack location. As a Runner, you will be responsible for taking audited pallets to the assigned aisle or area to stage for the Put away Driver to complete put away in the assigned storage location. Put away drivers and Runners will utilize different pieces of Material Handling Equipment to operate in their function including but not limited to: Double Pallet Jacks and Reach Trucks. The primary product lines you’ll oversee are durable medical goods ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and respiratory products. These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you’ll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People.

Shift Time: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM - Monday through Friday. Starting Pay: $23.25 Hourly.

Main Activities/Responsibilities

• Puta way or stage product according to the RF scanner and recheck them to ensure accuracy
• De-casing product as needed
• Unpack, sort and count parts purchase orders received from vendors as needed
• Notify receiving issues of all receiving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Address any misprints, false quantities, and closed carton orders
• Inspect items for quality and quantity and any evidence of dust, paint, or dents
• Ensure that any product not up to the quality standards are reported to the floor leadership
• Ensure effective wrapping for product being stored in the bin location
• Develop an attitude of support and participate in an environment of continuous improvement
• Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
• Other duties may be assigned

Reporting Relationships And Supervision

• This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor.

Education And Experience

• H. S. Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills, e.g. PC, MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel), RF scanners
• Able to use material movement equipment (e.g. cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.)
• SAP or Warehouse Management System experience

Your Physical Demands/Work Environment

• -Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• -Performs activities in a warehouse environment. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.

• 432.3, Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare provides the following pay scale for this position. The salary range for this role is from $20.93 to $23.95 per year. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as the applicant’s experience, specialization, and education, as well as the company’s requirements. The stated range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits which may be offered to the applicant, if eligible under the company’s policies.
