Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Receiving Operator to coordinate the receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials within the facility. The role involves operating power industrial vehicles (PIV) such as reach trucks, forklifts, and clamp trucks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, staging materials, assisting production pull requests, and maintaining a clean, safe dock area. Cycle counts are performed with a scan gun or tablet, leveraging basic computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• No prior forklift experience is welcome if willing to obtain certification.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Commitment to safety is essential.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and unload trucks, then stage or store materials.
• Coordinate with Filling and Milling to pull and stage materials for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe dock area.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts using a scan gun or tablet.
