Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Receiving Operator to coordinate receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials within the plant. The role uses PIVs including reach trucks, forklifts, and a clamp truck to support multiple departments.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a safety-focused mindset. Lifting up to 75 lbs and forklift training or certification are part of the duties; experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift training or certification preferred; training provided.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and unload trucks, then stage or store materials.
• Coordinate with Filling and Milling to pull and stage materials for production.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dock area.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts using a scan gun or tablet.
• Operate power industrial vehicles (reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks) as needed.
