Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a parts receiving associate in Waxahachie, TX to verify and record incoming shipments. You will unload trucks, scan orders, and ensure accurate receipt of materials for production and customer delivery.

The role requires HS education, forklift certification, and English literacy. Work hours are Monday–Friday, with a physical requirement to lift heavy items and operate in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in shipping.
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Licensed forklift truck operator.

Responsibilities

• Operates lift trucks, forklifts or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments, areas or off of trucks.
• Unload trucks using a scanner or pick list generated by Supervisor/Manager.
• Performs all computer functions necessary to complete job.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Supports the received goods produced and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
