Job summary

Lippert Components in Chicago, IL seeks a Receiving Clerk and Material Handler to manage unloading and loading of trucks, direct material to locations, and support perpetual inventory accuracy. You will supervise Receiving Clerks and ensure 5S and safety procedures are followed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid forklift license (LCI), and 1–3 years of related experience. Night and weekend shifts may be required; OSHA safety rules apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LCI issued Forklift license required.
• 1–3 years of training experience requested.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Receiving Clerks and Material Handlers; unloading/loading of trucks and directing material to locations.
• Support inventory accuracy, put-away, and housekeeping in the receiving area.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounting to resolve discrepancies between invoices and received quantities.
• Complete inventory transactions and ensure correct part identification and location in a timely manner.
• Adhere to safety policies and provide leadership development for the team.
