Job summary

Lippert is a leading global manufacturer and supplier serving the RV, marine, automotive and building products industries. This role supports receiving, shipping, and material handling to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.

The position requires operating forklifts, unloading trucks, and processing shipments with attention to safety and accuracy. Must read and follow instructions, maintain records, and work a steady day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in shipping.
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Licensed forklift truck operator.

Responsibilities

• Operates lift trucks, forklifts or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments, areas or off of trucks.
• Unload trucks using a scanner or pick list generated by Supervisor/Manager.
• Performs all computer functions necessary to complete job.
• Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Supports the received goods produced and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
