Job summary

The Doe Run Company in Boss, MO is seeking a Receiving Operator to unload, store, sort, and identify feed material and batteries, while documenting materials for processing. This 12-hour rotating position is based at the Buick Resource Recycling Division.

The role offers on-the-job training, a starting wage of $23.70 per hour plus a 5% targeted monthly bonus, and benefits from day one. Candidates should have a high school diploma and forklift qualification, with industrial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift & other mobile equipment qualification.
• Environmental safety and health rules training.
• Experience operating mobile equipment and machinery.
• Background in industrial operations or similar work.
• Knowledge of material identification.

Responsibilities

• Identify feed material at receiving and verify against shipping documents for accuracy.
• Operate mobile and stationary equipment to unload, store, sort, and identify batteries and feed material; flag non-standard material.
• Operate drum, pallet, and glass shredders as needed.
• Move materials to correct locations following loading/storage procedures.
• Complete paperwork for identification, weighing, and labeling.
• Clean spills, remove trash, separate plastic; keep areas clean.
• Inspect and maintain machinery; complete daily pre-shift inspections.
• Work safely following EHS policies; support safe practices and report issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
