Job summary

MIRATECH in Houston, TX is hiring a Receiving Material Handler for 1st shift to unload, inspect, and document incoming materials. You will verify contents against packing lists, label and store items, and operate material handling equipment in an outdoor warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with purchasing, production, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Location: Houston, Texas

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Collaborates with: Purchasing, Production, Quality

Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm with overtime as necessary; sometimes required.

Primary Responsibility: The Receiving Material Handler is responsible for unloading, inspecting, and accurately documenting incoming shipments of raw materials, components, and supplies. This role ensures that all received materials meet quality standards and are stored appropriately to support efficient production operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory control. Please note that this position is working 100% outside in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
