Ag Growth International Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Warehouse Associate to unload, inspect, inventory, tag, and deliver materials to the proper storage locations while following OSHA safety rules and wearing PPE.

No prior experience is required—on-the-job training is provided. The role involves staging and organizing raw and finished materials, verifying driver paperwork, assisting with cycle counts, and operating basic material handling equipment outdoors in all weather.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather; read/interpret documents; stay organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Unload, inspect, inventory, document tags, and deliver materials to storage locations.
  • Verify materials with driver paperwork and internal documents for correct certifications.
  • Stage, move, and organize raw materials and finished materials to support operations.
  • Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas; operate basic material handling equipment.
  • Perform other duties as requested and maintain excellent attendance.

Job description

  • Follow and demonstrate company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations such as: Wearing PPE safety shoes, safety glasses, goggles, ear plugs, and gloves. Ensure that the area complies with all OSHA standards.
  • Verify materials with driver’s paperwork as well as internal documents, ensuring all appropriate certifications and documentation is correct and in place.
  • Unload, inspect, inventory, document tag, and deliver materials and components to appropriate storage location in an accurate and organized manner.
  • Review job order paperwork for material requirements and consult with Operators on the order of material usage.
  • Accurately stage, move, store, and organize raw materials, parts, and finished materials to support Operations.
  • Assist with conducting inventory checks and cycle counts.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
  • Maintain assigned equipment as directed
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
  • Excellent attendance.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work outdoors under all weather conditions. Must be able to read and interpret BOL’s, shipping lists, Purchase Orders, and other documents as well as write legibly. Must possess a high degree of organization, attention to detail, be a self-starter, and remain engaged. Must be capable of operating various material handling equipment, including forklifts, side-lifts, and overhead cranes. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, manually manipulate, and reach outward. The employee frequently is required to reach above the shoulder and climb and occasionally required to sit, crawl, squat and kneel, and bend. The employee must constantly lift/carry up to 11-20 lbs and push/pull 12 lbs or less and frequently lift/carry up to 51-100 lbs and push/pull 41-100 lbs.

  • Sense of Sound – (Standard)
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety toe shoes, Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses, Gloves and Fall Protection (Fall Arrest System)
  • Sense of Touch

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and /or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
