Job summary

Komar Industries, LLC is seeking a Warehouse associate to support production and distribution. The role involves pulling orders, stocking, and moving materials with forklifts and related equipment, while maintaining accurate inventory records.

The candidate should have experience with ERP/WMS systems, handheld RF devices, and a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for prior warehouse or steel/manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Pulls orders from inventory and prepares for production or distribution.
• Delivers production materials and supplies to lines as needed.
• Maintains inventory by labeling and identifying items.
• Locates materials and supplies for production lines.
• Packs and presents materials to production lines.
• Documents materials movements and locations.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related machinery.
• Meets production standards and maintains attendance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution

• Maintains inventory by identifying and labeling.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed for production lines.
• Locates and packs materials to present to the production lines.
• Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other machinery to move items.
• Ability to meet production standards.
• Maintain good attendance record and be able to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain good safety record.
• Maintain positive attitude.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or relative experience and/or training for job classification.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

• Requires tape measure reading knowledge and understanding of basic engineering drawings.
• Basic math, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving many variables in standard and complex situations.
