Job summary

JLL is seeking a Receiving/Mail Associate at our Morrisville, NC site. You will handle the mail and logistics lifecycle, from inbound deliveries to outgoing shipments, keeping areas organized and compliant with safety standards.

The role involves coordinating recycling, monitoring supplies, and maintaining equipment function while supporting a productive, safe workplace. Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and digital tracking systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks including walking, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as operational needs require.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accept, sort, and accurately record all incoming mail, packages, and freight deliveries to ensure timely distribution throughout the facility.
• Prepare and coordinate outgoing mail and shipments, maintaining organized departure schedules and documentation.
• Organize and maintain shipping and receiving areas to optimize workflow efficiency and accessibility.
• Monitor paper supplies across copy areas and proactively replenish to prevent disruptions.
• Check printer and copier toner levels and replace cartridges as needed to maintain equipment functionality.
• Coordinate asset recycling programs by collecting old equipment, batteries, and materials for proper disposal.
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, utilize personal protective equipment when required, and identify opportunities to minimize accident risks.
• Manage multiple concurrent tasks independently while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Receiving/Mail Associate

What this job involves:

As a Receiving/Mail Associate at JLL, you'll be the backbone of our mail and logistics operations, ensuring seamless flow of communications and materials across our facility. Your role centers on managing the complete lifecycle of incoming and outgoing deliveries-from standard mail to palletized freight-with precision and accountability. You'll maintain organized shipping areas, coordinate recycling programs, and support our office supply infrastructure by monitoring paper stocks and printer/copier functionality. Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience in mailroom, warehouse, or logistics operations
• Familiarity with shipping carrier systems and documentation requirements
• Knowledge of recycling and sustainability program coordination
• Experience with inventory tracking and supply management systems
