Job summary
Sports Basement is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Staffer to support daily store operations in Los Angeles. You will load/unload trucks, unpack new products, and prep items for sale while working closely with leads and managers to meet goals.
Ideal candidates have retail experience, strong multitasking, and safety-consciousness. The role offers varied shifts including weekends and holidays, with competitive hourly pay and multiple benefits for full-time staff.
Qualifications
- Retail or industry experience preferred but not required.
- Self-starter and prioritizes daily workload.
- Detail-oriented with multitasking skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing daily tasks.
- Must operate a pallet jack and lift 40 pounds.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Available to work before and during operating hours including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Internal candidates: familiarity with SAP, Google Docs, Shopify, POS systems, Winterstieger, Sales Saver, Lightspeed and Fiori.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload delivery trucks and prep products for sales floor.
- Unpack and prep new products for the floor.
- Receive inbound deliveries and prep outgoing products.
- Work with Lead and Management to meet business goals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and buyers.
