Job summary

Sports Basement is seeking Receiving Staffers in California to help manage merchandise intake and floor readiness. You will assist in unloading deliveries, tagging and shelving products, and ensuring accuracy and safety according to company standards.

The role supports the leadership team with daily tasks, maintains a positive attitude, and collaborates across departments including fulfillment when needed. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Retail or industry experience is preferred but not required.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize daily workload.
• Detail-oriented with multitasking skills.
• Flexible and adaptable as daily tasks may change.
• Ability to operate pallet jack, lift 40 pounds, stand for long periods.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work most weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving inbound deliveries and prep for floor.
• Unload trucks, tag, and stock merchandise accurately and safely.
• Coordinate with Lead/Management on daily goals and tasks.
• Maintain communication with team via email and verbal updates.
• Support other zones/departments as needed, including fulfillment.
