Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. is hiring for a Receiving/General Labor role at our Paterson, NJ plant. You will help manage the receiving and cutter deck areas in a food production environment, ensuring a steady corn flow to the line and assisting with sanitation during defrost periods.

The position requires basic computer skills, strong teamwork, and the ability to stand for long periods while following directions. Prior frozen food facility experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in a frozen food manufacturing facility preferred.
• Basic Computer Skills
• Good communication skills
• High School Diploma, GED or 1 year of food manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production line and HMI control panel, starting, stopping, and controlling speed.
• Maintain adequate product flow to keep Product Hoppers full and ensure smooth line operation.
• Observe production processes to detect issues and communicate them to team leaders.
• Keep detailed logs of equipment downtime and process events.
• Assist in plant cleaning during defrost/sanitation periods.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and work as part of a team.
