Job Title: Receiving Lead 2nd Shift
Compensation Grade: 7
Starting Wage: $26/HR
Under the direction of the Receiving distribution Lead, oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing, issuing and delivery of materials to manufacturing operations. Maintain receiving and inventory control records; serve as a lead over one or more assigned materials/warehouse functions; train and provide lead work direction and guidance to assigned staff; and ensure compliance of safety rules and regulations.
Prioritize daily workload for department to facilitate accurate material movement Directs materials/warehouse personnel to meet production material needs while ensuring transactional integrity Resolve supplier issues regarding production material via collaboration with Supply Chain Planning and/or Strategic Sourcing Support continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen participation Investigate Oracle and eKanban inventory and/or transaction issues while driving to root cause Maintain FIFO inventory rotation for applicable parts Train materials/warehouse personnel in all aspects of their job responsibilities including warehousing, safety procedures, Oracle, and use of scanning guns Recertify company personnel on fork truck and material handling vehicles Facilitate appropriate flow of material to support production at required inventory organizations. Ensure compliance with all Copeland policies and procedures Perform daily cycle counts as required Demonstrate working knowledge to fill in for any departmental function due to absences All other duties as required
High School Diploma required and five years of experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
