Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound operations, including unloading, staging, check-ins, and put away.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate receiving team members to ensure productivity, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
• Ensure purchase orders and transfer orders are received accurately, on time, and compliant with requirements.
• Coordinate receiving schedules with vendors and internal departments.
• Monitor workflow and labor allocation to meet daily volume and service levels.
• Enforce safety policies; promote a strong safety culture.
• Maintain receiving documentation and ERP/WMS transactions.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, damages, shortages, and delivery issues.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and receipt confirmation.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with performance metrics, reporting, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and employment laws.

Job Title: Receiving LeadPosition SummaryThe Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing all inbound receiving operations to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective receiving of products to RK Supply.
