Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Corydon, IN is seeking a Receiving & Inventory Warehouse Associate. This role starts at $19 per hour, on the first shift, Monday–Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You will help ensure accurate receipt of materials and maintain organized inventory in a fast-paced warehouse. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and self-motivated, with forklift experience and familiarity with RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, inventory, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely.
• Receive and unload incoming shipments.
• Compare deliveries against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
• Report issues and coordinate with vendors or purchasing to resolve them.
• Enter receiving information into inventory systems.
• Label, sort, and store materials in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with counts and audits.
• Prepare and maintain receiving documentation.

Receiving & Inventory Warehouse Associate

Corydon, IN | STARTING @ $19/HR| 1st Shift | Monday–Friday

Location: Corydon, IN - Directly off the I64 exit

Pay:STARTING @ $19/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, staying organized, and keeping things moving. You'll play an important role in making sure incoming materials are received accurately and efficiently.

What You'll Do

As a Receiving Clerk, you'll help keep the warehouse running smoothly from the moment shipments arrive.

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials safely.

• Receive and unload incoming shipments.

• Compare deliveries against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.

• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.

• Report receiving issues promptly and work with vendors or purchasing to resolve them.

• Enter receiving information accurately into inventory management systems.

• Label, sort, and store materials in their designated warehouse locations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts and audits.

• Prepare and maintain receiving documentation.

• Assist with shipping and other warehouse operations as needed.

• Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Dress & Work Environment

The warehouse is not climate controlled, so you'll need to dress appropriately for the weather.
