Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Receiving Clerk in Groveport, Ohio. You will log incoming purchase orders, audit paperwork, and assist inventory to keep stores stocked for customers. You’ll use distribution systems, call vendors for packing lists, and handle lifting and loading with appropriate equipment as needed.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, basic math/reading, MS Office skills, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds in a warehouse setting. Flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of good attendance.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• If internal, no written warnings within the last 6 months or final warnings within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Log in all incoming purchase orders and audit receiving paperwork for accuracy.
• Assist inventory to ensure stores are stocked and observe for defects/damage.
• Call vendors for packing lists and freight bills; maintain filing System for receiving packets.
• Operate distribution computer systems and use equipment to unload, move, stock, and load merchandise as needed.
