Job summary

NetCost Market is seeking a Receiving Manager to supervise inventory control, receiving, and shipping in our store warehouse. You will oversee department staff and ensure accurate records, safety, and timely processing of shipments.

Responsibilities include unloading, stocking, forklift operation, and coordinating with Accounts Payable while maintaining a clean, organized receiving area. The role requires strong organizational skills and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and receiving processes.
• Data entry proficiency for purchase orders and logs.
• Forklift certificate or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine labor tasks: pulling orders, unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and maintaining clean, safe warehouse areas.
• Fulfill special requests and operate carts or forklifts for transport as needed.
• Expedite receipt of all incoming merchandise with accuracy and speed.
• Load trucks for delivery and handle returns.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy of records.
• Adhere to safety policies to prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable on billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records for store-to-store transfers and vendor returns.
• Keep the Receiving Department clean and organized.
• Manage shipment, receipt, and processing of returned merchandise.
• Work closely with Department Managers to resolve in-house issues.
