Jetro Restaurant Depot in Newport News, VA is seeking a Receiving Manager to oversee all receiving operations, ensure accurate processing of shipments, and maintain proper documentation in line with company standards.

You will drive inventory accuracy, support operational efficiency, supervise receiving staff, resolve discrepancies, and uphold audit readiness through consistent adherence to written procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving operations to ensure accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments
• Ensure all deliveries are verified for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
• Maintain accurate receiving records and support overall inventory accuracy
• Monitor receiving activity to identify discrepancies, errors, or process gaps
• Supervise receiving staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations
• Coordinate scheduling and workflow for receiving operations
• Ensure proper handling of discrepancies, including damages, shortages, and documentation issues
• Support compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and operational controls
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area

• Oversee daily receiving operations to ensure accurate and efficient processing of incoming shipments
• Ensure all deliveries are verified for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation
• Maintain accurate receiving records and support overall inventory accuracy
• Monitor receiving activity to identify discrepancies, errors, or process gaps
• Supervise receiving staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations
• Coordinate scheduling and workflow for receiving operations

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing receiving operations in a high-volume environment
• Familiarity with audit standards and inventory controls
• Background in retail, wholesale, or distribution operations

Work Environment / Expectations

Primarily warehouse or receiving environment. Requires standing, walking, and handling product for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on delivery schedules and business needs.
