Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co. seeks a Receiving Associate at our Evansville branch to ensure accurate receipt and stocking of warehouse inventory. You will review manifests, resolve discrepancies, and enter receipt data into the ERP system, contributing to precise inventory control.

You will operate RF scanners and forklifts, stock according to WMS directions, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse for staff and customers while supporting team goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of prior warehouse experience.
• RF scanners experience preferred; forklift experience required.
• Excellent communication skills and a focus on customer service.
• Dependable attendance with the ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for the entire shift, lift up to 50 lbs routinely.

Responsibilities

• Review shipping manifests and cross-check received inventory to ensure accuracy.
• Resolve discrepancies and maintain necessary documentation according to standard procedures.
• Accurately enter receipt information into the ERP system.
• Sort and stock inventory according to directions from the WMS System.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the warehouse inventory system.
• Load and unload trucks, move materials, and stage products as needed.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely within the warehouse environment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse space accessible to team members and customers.

• Proficient in basic computer operations and able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
