Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in Chicago is seeking a receiver/stocker to join our team. You will receive, unload, sort, verify, and move items to stockrooms or departments, supporting a fast-paced, high-volume venue environment.

You will follow purchase orders, maintain cleanliness, follow health standards, and work with chefs and purchasers. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential; previous receiver experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous receiver/stocker experience preferred.
• Experience as a receiver in a high-volume operation preferred.
• Knowledge of food product preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and sort delivered items.
• Verify quantity and quality of items received.
• Move items to stockroom or to a specific department.
• Operate shipping/receiving equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of receiving areas and environment.
• Communicate with teammates and supervisors professionally.
• Assist with inventory and follow purchase orders.
• Follow health and sanitation standards.
