Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Receiving Coordinator in Sugar Land, Texas to accurately receive, verify, and put away materials while following SOPs and department guidelines. This role focuses on meeting daily receiving targets and ensuring smooth operations.

The position reports to the department and involves recording shipments in SAP, MES, and GR files, with duties including lab coat management, stock replenishment, and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics preferred.
• Experience in warehouse environment preferred, though not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (intermediate).
• Experience in stocking, loading, shipping, and receiving preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and adaptability.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to load/unload pallets and transport to other locations if required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Mandarin language skills preferred.
• Occasional local day travel may be required; no overnight travel anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Receive materials and verify accuracy of shipments against documentation.
• Record incoming shipment details in SAP, MES, and GR files within the department’s shared folder.
• Independently resolve shipment issues or contact shippers when necessary.
• Manage lab coats, including barcode scanning for check-in/out and replacements.
• Replenish daily lab supplies as needed.
• Support supervisor and coworkers in meeting department goals.
• Report incidents to the supervisor or manager immediately.
• Perform any other duties needed to meet department targets.
