Job summary

UES, a leading geotechnical and environmental services firm, seeks a Receiving Specialist to manage income delivery of supplies, testing samples, and related materials in a warehouse setting.

You will collaborate with operations leadership and field technicians to ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, and accurate inventory management while upholding safety standards and quality controls.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, administrative support, finance, or business operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.
• Willingness to learn procurement systems, policies, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, Inspect, and store shipments of products.
• Accurately record receiving data to align with associated purchase orders.
• Prepare and organized received stock/deliveries for inventory.
• Report damages or inventory shortage to operational leadership & take corrective action as needed.
• Maintain quality standards on all work; ensure safety requirements and processes are followed at all times regarding receipt and storage of inventory.
• Effectively communicate with Lab Manager regarding inventory levels.
