Job summary

Polara is seeking a Receiving Clerk to manage deliveries at our Texas facility. You will direct drivers, sign for shipments, and document inspections in our ERP system. You will inspect parts from vendors, verify against orders, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure proper documentation. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs is required.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ISO experience and forklift certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.
• Experience in an ISO environment is preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery drivers to the correct unloading station.
• Receive and sign for deliveries.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Inspect incoming parts coming from outsourced vendors.
• Check deliveries against orders, invoices, and other documents to verify correctness
• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure all proper purchase documents are in ERP system for receiving.
• Work in ERP system to review and receive orders.
• Store stock in an orderly manner in appropriate locations
• Provide proper receiving documentation to accounting for weekly pay runs.
• Be able to lift boxes up to 70lbs.
• If there are issues with the order after receiving inspection, report problem or concerns to manager and appropriate leadership of operations department and complete rejection process.
• Complete annual Inventory counts.
• Conduct regular cycle counts
• Establish reliability and initiative to create a higher standard of performance through meeting set deadlines, achieving goals and objectives, and pursuing efficiency.
• Establish high performance standards by meeting deadlines and pursuing efficiency.
• Follow and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.
