About The Role

The Receiving/Inventory Control Supervisor oversees daily activities of the IC/Receiving staff, including receipt, unloading, sorting, and put-away functions. Responsibilities include cycle counting, up-stock verification, restock, case picking, and managing shortages, returns, and product transfers. The role requires a hands-on approach with strong floor presence, motivating employees to meet performance, safety, and cost standards, while adhering to company policies.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Full-Time, Exempt, Onsite at 10920 Boggy Creek Rd, Orlando FL 32824

Responsibilities

1. Oversee incoming shipment activities for accuracy and condition.
2. Manage receipt, unloading, sorting, staging, and putaway of shipments.
3. Use Advance Shipment Notice system for shipment verification.
4. Maintain inbound shipment schedules.
5. Assign and review cycle count batches, reconcile discrepancies.
6. Monitor restock processes and reconcile inbound goods against ASNs.
7. Troubleshoot returns process issues.
8. Contribute to inventory control projects.
9. Maintain organized records and communicate with management.
10. Assist in planning, evaluation, and team collaboration.
11. Ensure data accuracy and proper material handling.
12. Support security and safety protocols, including equipment and OSHA compliance.
13. Lead safety investigations and maintain safety equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution warehouse, preferably apparel
• Knowledge of lean/process improvement techniques
• Leadership, supervision, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to learn systems quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Additional Requirements

Must wear PPE (safety toe shoes, bump caps, safety vests). Warehouse environment involves standing, walking, and operating equipment. Conditions can vary from warm to cool, with moderate noise levels.
