Job summary

Techstyles Sportswear is seeking an experienced Receiving Associate to join our Warehouse Team. The role focuses on accurate receiving, inspection, and processing of incoming shipments to support daily operations.

You will count, verify, and record items in our inventory system, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to keep materials flowing on schedule. Forklift and pallet jack experience is required; attention to detail and dependability are

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse receiving, inventory control, or a related warehouse role.
• Strong understanding of receiving procedures, purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory documentation.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, or ERP systems.
• Ability to accurately count, verify, and reconcile incoming merchandise.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
• Ensure all incoming merchandise is accurately counted, properly identified, and recorded in the inventory system.
• Identify and report shipment discrepancies, shortages, overages, damaged merchandise, and incorrect items.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to resolve receiving discrepancies and ensure timely processing of materials.
• Accurately enter receiving transactions into the inventory management system.
• Label, organize, and properly stage received merchandise for storage or distribution.
• Maintain accurate receiving records, shipping documents, and inventory transactions.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, when trained and authorized.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Follow established warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and workplace safety requirements.
• Prioritize incoming shipments to support production schedules and operational deadlines.
• Communicate receiving issues and potential delays to warehouse leadership.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
