Job summary

Salm Partners, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Receiver/Stocker to coordinate the receiving and storage of inbound raw materials in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate recordkeeping, quality checks, and timely processing of shipments as part of a safety‑driven team.

Responsibilities include verifying Bills of Lading, updating MAS500, and supporting expeditors with daily operations.

Qualifications

• 3 years of warehouse inventory management experience, preferably in a USDA-regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Forklift and material handling experience required.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to read Bills of Lading and safety rules; train others in receiving.

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities related to product and materials shipments into the company daily, including recordkeeping, reporting, and tracking.
• Verify quantities received vs. Bills of Lading; check material for damage or quality; complete the Commodity Receiving form.
• Pull samples for ingredient verification.
• Enter receipt of goods into the MAS500 system.
• Resolve receiving discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintaining the Meat Receiving Logs.
• Confirm exceptions and unusual deliveries; trace orders internally to originator.
• Establish a JIRA claim for raw material non-conformance on receipt.
• Check in and assist drivers at the north shipping and receiving dock.
• Unload raw materials from trucks on inbound shipments.
• Transfer finished goods between coolers if needed to avoid overload.
• Consolidate all #2 product in the north Finished Goods cooler.
• Monitor recycling trailer/containers for pick-up.
• Provide backup to Expeditors as needed.
• Operate baler to compact corrugate cardboard for recycling.
• Verify forklift equipment is in good operating condition; follow safety procedures.
• Verify, receive, and ensure timely delivery of maintenance items.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies.
