Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year receiving, inventory, or material handling experience.
• Forklift operating experience required.

• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and POs.
• Unload deliveries using a forklift and receive into inventory systems.
• Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with proper documentation and system updates.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Project Management, and Operations teams.

Receiving & Inventory Clerk - 1st Shift

The Receiving & Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse inventory, and ensuring materials are available to support production operations. This role plays a critical part in inventory control, material flow, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Location

• Full-Time, On-Site

Schedule

• 1st Shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM
• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to support production demands and customer deadlines

Compensation

• Starting at $18 to $22 per hour
• Based on experience and qualifications
• Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders
• Unload incoming deliveries using a forklift
• Accurately receive materials into inventory management systems
• Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and system updates
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Supply raw materials and components to production as needed
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain organized receiving, warehouse, and inventory storage areas
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and 6S standards
• Work collaboratively with Purchasing, Production, Project Management, and Operations teams

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of receiving, inventory, warehouse, or material handling experience
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience
• Forklift experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, inventory records, and receiving documentation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred

• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems
• Experience with barcode scanners and inventory tracking systems
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting best practices
