Job summary

KDM is seeking Print Operators for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in Cincinnati, OH. The role involves operating, setting up, maintaining and monitoring printing and production equipment to produce high-quality materials on schedule.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training on 3rd shift may occur on 1st or 2nd shift; competitive pay and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, printing, or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and work orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor printing and production equipment
• Set up and adjust equipment for various print jobs
• Review work orders, job tickets, and production specifications
• Perform quality inspections to ensure accuracy and print quality
• Monitor color consistency, registration, and overall product quality
• Complete production documentation and job tracking
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Load and unload materials as required
• Support production schedules and workflow efficiency
• Follow safety procedures, SOPs, and 6S standards
• Work collaboratively with Production, Prepress, Finishing, and Quality teams

Print Operators

The Print Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, maintaining, and monitoring printing and production equipment to produce high-quality printed materials that meet customer specifications, quality standards, and production deadlines. Operators will be cross trained on multiple pieces of equipment and production processes, providing opportunities to develop new skills and support various areas of manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Location

Full-Time, On-Site

Shift Availability

1st Shift: 6 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 2 PM to 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10 PM to 6:30 AM

Training Requirement

Employees hired for 3rd Shift will initially train on 1st or 2nd Shift before transitioning to their assigned 3rd Shift schedule.

Compensation

$20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Experience operating digital presses, printers, cutters, or related production equipment
• Experience with Konica Minolta Accurio, EFI Vutek, Inca, Fiery, or similar print equipment
• Knowledge of color management and print quality standards
