Job summary

Shepherd Electric Supply in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Receiving. You will verify inbound shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, confirm item, quantity and condition, and record transactions in the warehouse management system to keep inventory accurate. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior receiving, warehouse, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Forklift or pallet jack certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and standard computer tools (Excel, email) preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inbound receipt and verification: unload, inspect, and verify shipments against packing slips and POs.
• Record receiving transactions in the warehouse management system.
• Coordinate with purchasing on discrepancies to resolve issues promptly.
• Put away received product accurately and maintain inventory integrity.
• Support safety and housekeeping in the receiving area.
